VERTEST provides services for type approval of measuring tools with the register in the State Register of Measuring Tools and the receipt of a type approval certificate (metrological certificate). Services include the development of package of documentation with testing in accordance with the requirements of existing legislation.
The receipt of the approval certificate of the Measuring Tools type is a documentary evidence that the equipment is registered in the Russian state register of measuring tools and is conducted in accordance with the established procedure.
The procedure includes the following steps:
- Preparation of an application with documentation for the measuring tools.
- Preparation of the program, test methods and testing on the basis of an accredited metrological testing center and registration of protocols and certificates based on test results.
- Conducting a metrological examination of the submitted test documents.
- Transfer of the results of metrological expertise to the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology for registration in the state register.
- Payment of state fee and obtaining a certificate for a measuring tools. The metrological certificate is issued for a period of 5 years. The manufacturer of the equipment in the Russian Federation, and also the representative of the foreign company-manufacturer can initiate the procedure for obtaining it.
