PRODUCT CERTIFICATION

Take advantage of our services on product certification or declaration to guarantee safety of your products according to national legislative requirements of the countries of the Customs Union.

The technical regulations of the Customs Union were initially developed according to the Agreement on Common Principles and Rules of Technical Regulation in the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation dated on November 18th, 2010 and applied to products released into circulation on the united customs territory of the Customs Union.

After the entry into force on January 1st, 2015 of Eurasian Economic Union Treaty dated on May 29th 2014, technical regulations are developed based on the general principles of technical regulation established by the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and apply to products put into circulation within the framework of a united economic space consisting of territories of EAEU member states. Currently, the Eurasian Economic Union includes: the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation.

Within the framework of the customs union of the EAEU member states, there is a united “Commodity Nomenclature for the Foreign Economic Activity of the Eurasian Economic Union” (EAEC). EAEU technical regulations apply only to products included in the unified list of products approved by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) for which mandatory requirements are established within the EAEU.

Assessment of product conformity to the requirements of technical regulations is performed in the form of:

  • certification by accredited certification body;
  • declaration of conformity on the basis of their own evidence and (or) obtained with the participation of certification body or accredited testing laboratory (center).

The procedure for certification includes:

  • acceptance of the application for certification;
  • decision-making on the application;
  • documentation assessment;
  • samples identification, sampling and its testing;
  • analysis of the state of production (if it is set by the certification scheme);
  • analysis of the results obtained and decision-making on issuing (refusal to issue) of certificate of compliance;
  • issuance of certificate of compliance;
  • making entries of issued certificate of compliance on Unified Register of issued certificates of compliance and registered declarations of compliance;
  • provision by the applicant of product labeling with a single circulation mark on the market of the Customs Union;
  • inspection control over certified products (if this is set by the certification scheme);
  • suspension (renewal) or termination of issued certificates of compliance of products.

For your convenience at the bottom of the page you will find a description of the certification schemes.
