SUPPLIER AUDITS

Supplier audits are a tool for supply quality management. This activity in organizations refers to the procurement process. With positive results, the company is included in the list of approved suppliers.

Supplier audit consists of the following steps:

• Audit planning (determination of audit objectives, labor costs, development and approval of an audit plan);
• Auditing on the territory of a potential supplier;
• Registration of the final results of the audit with the registration of critical, significant and minor nonconformities, recommendations for improvements (audit report);
• Control over the closure of nonconformities (nonconformity report).
